Riding Lessons

We offer private lessons in general horsemanship, Western, and English riding, for the beginner to the advanced rider with an emphasis on trail riding.  With over 20 years of experience and a commitment to your safety and enjoyment, our instructor Eric will give you a full depth of care that both you and your horse deserve.

Private riding lessons offered by appointment only.

When you call or email, our instructor Eric will set up a time for your first 1 hour lesson.  The cost is $85 payable at the time of the lesson.  Sunset Ranch accepts Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.  After your first 1 hour lesson, you can talk to him about continuing lessons.  The package rate for 1 hour lessons is 10 for $750, a $100 discount.

Dress requirement for first lesson: Long pants and closed toe shoes.  Sneakers are OK for first lesson.  Helmets are required for all riders, if you don’t have one we have them at the ranch for you to borrow free of charge.  Don’t forget sunscreen, the sun gets pretty hot up here.
